The Purest Drink - On the Birth and Life of the Fullest of Moons ﷺ 

يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ۞ الطُّهْرِ سَيِّدِ كُلِّ سَاجِدٍ

O Lord, bestow prayers upon Muhammad —

The pure one, the master of all who fall prostrate.

Reconnecting with Prophetic biography (Sira) revives hearts, particularly through the medium and melody of song.  "The Purest Drink" is a spiritual poem, authored and read to honour the birth and life of the Master of Creation ﷺ.  It is the sister publication to the globally renowned Shimmering Light (al-Diyā al-Lām'i) by the erudite al-Habib Umar b. Hafīz, penned to facilitate a brief, yet spiritually impactful reading, comprised of 6 chapters and 85 verses.

Throughout Rabī al-Awwal one hears it's recital echoing through the halls of  Dar al-Mustafa, by day and night. Let's be from those who give life to our hearts through this noble work, starting this Rabī. 

وَمَقَامُهُ الْمَحْمُودُ وَهُوَ مُحَمَّدٌ ۞ فَالْحَمْدُ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ دَائِمًا سَرْمَدًا

His station is praiseworthy  — and he is Muhammad,

so praise be to the Compassionate, endlessly and eternally.
